What is a Modular Tiny House?

There is currently no set definition as to what constitutes as a tiny house. However, a residential structure under 500 square feet is generally accepted as being a tiny house. Tiny houses can come in all shapes and sizes. Some are called THOWS which is short for Tiny House on Wheels. These are like full-time travel trailers that can be pulled by larger pickup trucks and SUVs. They are built on specially designed trailers that provide relatively ease of movement from one place to another. Tiny houses can also be of modular design. Many of these are built from repurposed shipping containers of various sizes. Although these can be moved, these are more permanent structure as they have no wheels and must be lifted up and trucked to their final destinations.
